Clearwave Fiber Community Feedback

Residents experiencing issues with their Clearwave Fiber (formerly Hargray) Internet can stop by the Clubhouse on Tuesday, February 28th, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM to speak with the Clearwave team. The Clearwave team will take the feedback and work with individual homeowners to fix any issues.

Holiday Decorations

Holiday decorations and materials used should be removed within 15 days after any holiday.

We are seeking volunteers for the following:

  • Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

Pool News

The pool is currently being renovated to repair several failing areas. Measures are being taken to reinforce the areas for longevity. In addition, the pool will be replastered.

Pool Season is scheduled to resume on April 1st.

Gate News

We have not had the best luck with the gates lately. Unfortunately, damage from vehicles has been a significant culprit.

Rear Entrance Gate - We are sad to report the rear entrance gate was damaged in a hit-and-run accident. The cameras captured the information needed to pursue the individual for the damage. This is a process, so please bear with us as we work to replace it.

Front Exit Gate - Due to the age of the operating components of the front exit gates, they must be replaced. The gate company attempted to repair them, but the repair didn't hold. We are working closely with the vendor to get the gate panels in as soon as possible.

Residents - visitors should use the callbox for entry and never enter through the exit gate.

Website Updates

We've made several updates to the website to bring more items to the front page without the need to log in. In addition, we've added some new things.

Road Construction will start soon at the Blue Moon Crossing intersection and will be completed in 60 days or less.

The new traffic pattern on Pooler parkway will be as follows:
  • One lane dedicated right (to Pooler Parkway East Bound)
  • One lane Straight (to Cosco)
  • Two lanes dedicated left (to Pooler Parkway West Bound – towards I-16)

Community Reminders >>>

  • Basket Ball Goals should be put away when not in use.
  • Residents should practice patience, slow down, and watch for others when driving throughout the community.
  • Parking or Driving on residential or common grass areas is prohibited.
  • Please help keep our community clean by picking up any trash you see.
  • Visitors should use the appropriate means to enter the community and refrain from entering through the Exit Gate. Damage caused by any visitor will be passed along to the homeowner.
    • Helpful tip - ensure your delivery service has your directory code for quicker access.
  • Do Not Feed the Geese!
  • The Board does not manage the community's Facebook page. Notice an issue in the community or have a question? Email the Board at thegatesbod@gmail.com.
  • Burning materials of any kind is prohibited on any homesite or common property.
  • Parents make sure the Playground Gate is closed upon leaving. In addition, parking is permitted in the clubhouse parking lot only.
  • Riding dirt bikes, go-carts, and four-wheelers in the community are prohibited.
  • Having an event at your home? Please have your visitors park on one side of the road. This ensures your neighbors and emergency vehicles can safely navigate our narrow streets.

Pets
  • Pets are not allowed to roam free; pets must be on a leash if not within a fenced yard.
  • Be courteous to your neighbors and ensure your dogs are not excessively barking.
  • Pick up after your pet. Pet waste stations are to the left of the clubhouse, at the triangle, and outside the rear gate.

  • The Gates has a website: http://www.thegatesatsavannahquarters.com/.
  • Before making any additions or modifications to your property's exterior, including removing trees, adding a fence, installing solar panels, or installing a satellite dish, you will need to gain approval from the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). More information can be found on the community website or contact Sentry Mgt.
  • All trash/recycle bins should be removed from the curb after pick-up and stored out of view from the street. Visit atlanticwaste.com/pooler for pick-up schedules. Items must be placed in your Bin(s) for pick up. Yard Waste should be placed in brown paper bags.
  • Please notify the board if you need to park at the clubhouse overnight or utilize a POD.
  • We all love a little R&R; please be courteous to your neighbors and minimize noise levels after 9 PM.
  • Defaulting on your assessments will restrict amenity use.
